About the Photographer

A native New Yorker, Amalia Elena Veralli has called Vermont her home for over 35 years. Her photographic journey includes study at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, the University of Vermont and numerous workshops and private study. She began her exploration in photography while on a trip to Europe working for a student travel organization. Originally she focused on black and white photography and printmaking in her darkroom. She owned and operated Warren Village Pottery for almost 30 years, retiring in July 2005 to pursue her career as professional fine art photography.
