About Amalia Elena Veralli
A native New Yorker, Amalia Elena Veralli has called Vermont her home for more than 35 years. Her photographic journey includes study at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, the University of Vermont and numerous workshops and private study. She began her exploration in photography while on a trip to Europe working for a student travel organization. Originally, she focused on black-and-white photography and printmaking in her darkroom. She owned and operated Warren Village Pottery for almost 30 years, retiring in July 2005 to pursue her career of professional fine art photography. She has won many ribbons for her portrait and illustrative photography in the Annual Photography Competition of Vermont Professional Photographers. For several she has also been one of five winners in the well-known Waitsfield Round Barn Annual Photography Show, which has enabled her to be included in the Round Barn Annual Art Show.
